Map of playgrounds
in Denmark

Every public playground in Denmark on one interactive map. Zoom in, filter by what you need, and click a pin for photos, reviews and the full detail page.

How it works

One map, every Danish playground

The map renders every public playground we have in our database as a pin. Pins cluster at low zoom levels and split apart as you zoom in, so you never see a wall of overlapping markers. Click a pin to open a panel with the cover photo, rating, equipment tags and a link to the full page.

Filters work on top of the map - so the pins update live as you toggle "wheelchair-accessible" or "with water play". Use the search box to centre the map on a specific city or neighbourhood, or allow your browser to share your location to see what is closest right now.

For terminology, see our English glossary - or read the country-level intro at playgrounds in Denmark.

FAQ

About the playground map

Is the map free to use?

Yes - no signup, no subscription. You only need an account if you want to contribute reviews, photos or new playground submissions.

How many playgrounds are on the map?

Several thousand across Denmark, in every city and most municipalities. The dataset grows continuously through user submissions and automated imports.

Can I filter the map?

Yes. Age, equipment, accessibility, facilities, surface, setting and rating. Filters stack, so you can combine "with water play" and "wheelchair-accessible" and "in Copenhagen" in one query.

Does the map use my location?

Only if you allow it. Your browser asks for permission before sharing your location, and the coordinates are only used in your own browser to centre the map - never stored or sent to us.

Can I see photos and reviews on the map?

Yes. Click a pin to open a panel with the cover photo, rating, equipment tags and a link to the full detail page. Reviews live on the detail page along with the rest of the information.

Does the map work on mobile?

Yes. The map is built mobile-first - the filter panel becomes a bottom sheet on phones, and pins are large enough to tap easily.

How do I add a missing playground?

Sign in with Google and click "Submit a playground". Admins review the submission and publish it on the map within a couple of days.
