Transport
Pick playgrounds close to public transport, or with parking if you arrive by bus or van.
Taking a full preschool group or daycare on a playground trip puts different demands on the site. Find playgrounds with good transport, group capacity, mixed-age coverage - and an optional pedagogical angle for the day's theme.
A private family trip can go anywhere. A group of 15-20 children needs space to spread out, enough equipment so nobody waits idly, accessible toilets, and ideally a short walk from parking or public transport. If multiple ages are represented - nursery group with preschool group - the site also needs to cover the full age range.
Legepladsfinder lets you combine multiple filters at once and find playgrounds that match both the day's plan and the group's needs.

Must be close - at least one public toilet within 200 metres is a good rule of thumb for a group.
Pick playgrounds that cover both the youngest and the oldest in the group, so nobody just watches.
Park and school playgrounds are typically best for large groups - more open than tight urban sites.
Nature playgrounds and water-play sites open for science and outdoor-learning activities during the visit.
If a child in the group uses a wheelchair or is sensory-sensitive, use the accessibility filters.
A quick scout the day before reveals whether the sandbox is full, a slide is out of order, or a new playground has opened.
Water installations are typically open 1 May - 30 September. Call the municipality if you're planning a trip early or late in the season.
Save 3-5 playgrounds as your "rotation" and alternate them on regular trip days. Variety for the kids, less planning for you.
